Max&Marianne ROYAL ART COLLECTION
In the possession of Princess Marianne of Netherlands art collection are two art-historically important illustrated books which depict the royal art collection of Maximilian I Joseph King of Bavaria in lithographic plates. The original lithographs show 200 works from Rubens, Caravaggio, van Meer to Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. They were made by European lithographic masters between 1810 and 1821 and are today considered the most important lithographic work of the 19th century.
In 2022 Mike Kuhlmann has painted and tokenized new large-format paintings from 8 panels of old masterpieces. They represent the development of European art over the last 500 years.
